Crayon on colourtech silk coated paper, 32cm x 45cm
This artwork attempts to capture the brightness and enormity of the sky while playing with optical colour vibration. I tried to make this scene loosely on one plane by drawing the foreground first, adding background water and the sky - as if colouring between the lines - using staining and sgrafitto.
